About Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch
Nestled amongst the towering peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains, Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch is a thriving ranch retreat that has treated guests to amazing experiences for over 80 years. Situated on over 900 acres, its relaxed atmosphere, luxurious amenities, and a wide variety of outdoor activities perfectly capture the essence of the beauty of Southern Idaho.
Originally called the “Idaho Rocky Mountain Club”, the Ranch opened in 1930. In 2005, the Kapp-Singer families purchased the property and proceeded to upgrade the buildings and amenities.
The buildings are constructed of logs, in keeping with the traditional Western building style. While the interiors are luxuriously furnished to meet the expectations of guests, everything is understated so as not to feel pretentious.
Getting to Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch
Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch is located on Highway 75, about nine miles south of Stanley, Idaho, between mile markers 180 and 181.
It’s easy for you and your guests to get to your Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch wedding. There are two nearby airports: Boise International Airport (BOI) is a three-hour drive; and nearby Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN)–located in Hailey–is about a 90-minute drive. While Friedman Airport is closer, Boise International offers more flight and rental car options.

Your Rocky Mountain Ranch Wedding Ceremony
Your Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch wedding ceremony will take place on a gorgeous lawn just in front of the main lodge. The lawn features unencumbered views of the Sawtooth Mountains.
Your Wedding Reception
Your Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch wedding reception will be held in the Ranch’s dining room, in the main lodge just off the lobby.
The spaces features handmade chandeliers, gorgeous chairs, and long, family-style tables.

Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch Accommodations
The Ranch accommodations consist of fourteen Cabins arranged in seven two-cabin duplexes. In addition, there are four luxurious Lodge rooms. Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch can accommodate up to 44 guests.
Cabins
Each cabin features a rock fireplace, private bath, and a bed for two (twin beds or a king). A rollaway bed can be brought in to accommodate a third person. Four of the duplexes are connected by interior doors, perfect for groups or families of four or six persons.
Lodge Rooms
Each Lodge Room is features a queen bed, stone shower, and electric heat. Lodge Rooms are conveniently located off the gorgeous Great Room–its cozy seating, large fireplace and fresh-brewed coffee make it the perfect place to enjoy a book or chat amongst friends.

Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch Wedding Cost
In keeping with their desire to create a sense of community among guests, Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch requires a full buyout of the property for a wedding, with a two-night minimum. For 2023, the fee is $23000 per night with a $5000 private use fee. This fee covers all lodging, dining, and activities for up to 44 guests staying at the Ranch. The property can accommodate up to 50 persons, with room for up to 75 persons for the wedding ceremony. There is a nominal fee increase for wedding guests who do not stay at the ranch.
