Do you photograph elopements?

Of course! Depending on the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements. We love the intimate setting created between a couple when as they exchange vows in an alternative fashion.

We are having a destination wedding. Do you travel?

Absolutely! We’ve photographed destination weddings all over the world, including Italy, England, Belize, Hawaii, and destinations across the U.S. Destination weddings are priced a little differently than weddings in San Diego, ceremonies in Los Angeles, receptions in Orange County, or affairs in Palm Springs. However, we provide the same curated, hand-held experience for destination weddings! How do we reserve our wedding date?

A 50% deposit and signed contract is required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance assigned a payment schedule that is sensitive to your needs.

How many photographers will be at our wedding?

Every collection we offer is personally photographed by John Schnack and a hand-picked associate.

Will our wedding be featured in a magazine or blog?

Although many of our weddings do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. If youʼd like to get your wedding published, weʼd be happy to help find the right outlet.

Do we receive the high-resolution digital negatives?

We are firm believers in the beauty of the tangible photograph, and we want you to have gorgeous prints and albums of your wedding photos so you can enjoy them for years to come. That being said, we realize we live in an increasingly digital world, so we will make available web-ready digital files for download from your online gallery. Also, for every print you order, you will receive a high-resolution digital negative.

How does the Guided Artwork Experience (GAE) work?

When the initial edit is done, weʼll set up an appointment--either in person or over Skype/FaceTime--to view the images together. During this time, weʼll also take pictures of the walls of your home, then use those images to create mock-ups of the art on your walls. You can actually see what the artwork will look like in your home before you order!

Do you charge travel fees for weddings outside of San Diego?

For weddings in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and Palm Springs, there is no travel fee. For events in Los Angeles and Palm Springs in which the photography end time is considerably late, for safety purposes a one-night stay in a hotel room is required. For destination weddings that require significant travel, a nominal travel fee will be charged.
