Amazing Dana Mission Bay Wedding
Rosanne and Pablo’s Dana Mission Bay wedding was one for the ages! Their ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic church in Little Italy. With it’s Venetian-painted ceilings and it’s intimate feel, it’s one of my favorite Catholic churches in San Diego.
Wedding Prep at the Dana Mission Bay
Rosanne’s lovely lace gown hangs from a tree near the Dana Mission Bay, and her Badgley Mischka shoes wait to be put on. Her stationery set and jewelry pull together the rose gold color palette nicely.
Rosanne and her bridesmaids share a laugh outside the Dana in their coordinated robes.
The lovely bride Rosanne is helped into her amazing gown by her mother. Her Badgley Mischka shoes fit perfectly.
What a gown!
Pablo received sentimental gifts from Rosanne, including a gorgeous ring, a lovely card and a watercolor journal for their upcoming Italian honeymoon. At right, a groomsmen shows off the gift he and the others received from Pablo–a monogrammed copper flask.

Rosanne is escorted down the aisle by her mother and father. Our Lady of the Rosary, built in 1925, features a Venetian-painted ceiling that harkens back to Little Italy’s beginnings.
Rosanne smiles as she exchanges vows with Pablo. In keeping with Catholic tradition, the couple are bound in a rosary lasso as they kneel at the altar.
Rosanne and Pablo exchange a lovely kiss with a dip. Immediately following the ceremony they head out the door and on to the streets of Little Italy for some wonderful pictures.
Bride and Groom Pictures in Little Italy
With the county administration building as a backdrop, Pablo and Rosanne take a romantic walk on Cedar Street.
Born and Raised, San Diego’s hottest fine dining experience, is steps from the church and an obvious place for portraits of the bride and groom. The mid-day crowd is thin so it makes moving around the two floors super easy.
Wedding Party Photos on Mission Bay
The Dana Mission Bay offers a ton of nearby spots that are perfect for bridal party photos. The lawn has a gorgeous view of the bay and the boardwalk is perfect for those iconic summer photos.
This bridal party photo is one of my favorites of all time. I love the simplicity and the balance between the group and the lone palm tree.
