If you head north out of the Sun Valley area on interstate 75, past Galena Summit, you'll wander into the Old West as it was written in books: breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear air, and rugged mountains. Nestled on the western slopes of the Salmon-Challis National Forest lies Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch, a 900-acre retreat built in 1930 and now finds itself on the National Register of Historic Places. Needless to say, I was beyond excited when Claire called me and asked me to shoot her Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch destination wedding photos.
So happy to be finally featuring on the blog Jenn and Scott's Cape May destination wedding! What started as an email conversation, blossomed into a fortuitous meeting in New York City, followed by an fantastic engagement session in Montauk, comes one of the most wonderful weddings I've ever had the pleasure of photographing! Jenn and Scott's amazing event took place at Congress Hall, a historic hotel located in the heart of historic Cape May, New Jersey.
I photographed Elizabeth and Jordan's Hawaii wedding photos at Sunset Ranch on Oahu's famed North Shore. There are few words to describe how wonderful this wedding was--from Elizabeth and Jordan's loving demeanor to the beautiful details of the event. Capped off with a venue with one of the most breathtaking vistas around, this wedding was truly one for the books.
Danielle and Craig's Arizona destination wedding photos were shot on an unseasonably frigid day at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club, a short drive east of Phoenix, Arizona. Their destination wedding took place before a dramatic backdrop of the Superstition Mountains, underneath clear blue skies and an arbor handmade by Danielle's father. Their tented reception featured rustic adornments characteristic of the old west.
