I first met Tate a few years ago while working on a commercial for Visa Black Card (I photographed the print commercial and Tate was a production assistant for the film crew). Tate and I immediately hit it off, talking about surfing as we watched great surf roll through Black's during breaks in shooting. I met Lora at the commercial's wrap party in La Jolla, where the three of us exchanged ideas about wedding trends and styles for their upcoming wedding. In truth, Tate had not yet proposed to Lora, but it was obvious to me that they would be married at some point in the near future. Fast forward to this past Saturday, where Lora and Tate--in front of 50 family members and their closest friends--exchanged vows at Torrey Pines State Reserve wedding. It marked the culmination of lots of hard work and several meetings at Bull Taco to discuss logistics. It was a tremendous honor for me to photograph their wedding.
Congratulations, Tate and Lora, here's to many more meetings at Bull Taco (and let's mix in some surf from now on)!
