The 5 Best La Jolla Wedding Venues
As a La Jolla wedding photographer, I know first hand that there are so many amazing La Jolla wedding venues, each with their own pros and cons. But, I’ve photographed at nearly all of them, so here’s a list of the best La Jolla wedding venues (in no particular order)!
La Valencia Hotel : A Venue in the Heart of La Jolla
Known as “The Pink Lady” to locals, the La Valencia Hotel is the grand dame of La Jolla wedding venues!
This amazing property sits in the heart of La Jolla village, which is great for a number of reasons. For instance, any wedding guests staying at the hotel can walk to a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
In addition, the hotel is a stone’s throw from the La Jolla Cove, so it’s perfect for guests who want something to do when they’re not at your wedding! For example, they can snorkel in La Jolla Cove, bodysurf at Boomer Beach, or rent kayaks!

Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines : A Versatile Venue on the Bluff
If you’re looking for a La Jolla wedding venue that can accommodate a large guest list, look no further than the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines!
Along with the Lodge and Estancia, this amazing property sits on what I like to call the “Miracle Mile” of La Jolla wedding venues.

The Darlington House : Quaint Elegance in the Village of La Jolla
Ahh, the Darlington House! I love this place. Its incredible architecture and gardens make this the perfect venue for a sophisticated couple.
The Darlington house sits in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of downtown La Jolla. It’s steps from the beach, so there are great places for bride and groom photos.
Lodge at Torrey Pines : Pure Sophistication
The Lodge at Torrey Pines is, simply put, one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in La Jolla. This AAA Five Diamond property sits adjacent to Torrey Pines Golf Course, offering views of the course and Pacific Ocean. The design of the Lodge pays tribute to the finest examples of early 1900’s Craftsman-style architecture.
Estancia Resort : Desert Serenity on the Ocean
Last, but certainly not least, is Estancia Resort! Sitting just south of the Lodge at Torrey Pines, Estancia offers privacy and exclusivity to any couple planning an Estancia wedding!
With a wide variety of amenities and a serene, desert-garden feel, Estancia has long been one of my favorite La Jolla wedding locations.
