Approach and style…

My goal is to make beautiful, timeless images you’ll treasure for the rest of your lives.  While my instinct is to anticipate the little moments that make your wedding day so amazing, sometimes I need to insert myself into a situation and direct you–most often with our portrait session–in order to make the kinds of photographs you and I want.

Engagement sessions…

A common refrain of my conversations about making great pictures with my clients revolves around breaking down barriers and becoming vulnerable with one another.  An engagement session is the best way to accomplish this.  Not only do we become comfortable with one another, but the session gives us a fantastic opportunity to make images that, due to time and location constraints, we won’t have the chance to make on your wedding day.  Plus, on your wedding day I’d prefer to greet you with a hug and not a simple handshake!

When the wedding is over…

I take great pride in delivering my images in a timely manner.  Generally speaking, it takes approximately three weeks from the wedding date for the pictures to be edited and uploaded to your online proofing site, at which time you’ll be notified via email with instructions for accessing the images.  Within a few days of the proofing site being posted, you’ll receive a CD or DVD of your images.  If you purchased an album, it takes about 8-10 weeks for the album to be designed, crafted and delivered to you.
