Courtney and Chris’s Destination Wedding in Northern California

There are not enough superlatives to describe Courtney and Chris’s destination wedding in Lake Almanor, California. From the family-owned 150-year-old barn at which the ceremony and reception took place to the most intricate of details (antlers!), it was an honor for me to document the wedding of such a truly special couple.

We were pleased to work with power team of vendors: Katy Higgins and her crew from Cosmopolitan Events flew up from Newport Beach to help transform a long-forgotten barn into a rustic oasis; Andrew and Paul from Paul Fenner Floral Designs did an amazing job with the floral and interior design, creating a look that was truly magical; DJ Mark Moreno provided nonstop tunes that kept the party rocking well into the wee hours of the morning; Brandon from Sound Image Entertainment did the lighting, creating an incredible ambiance so I could leave my remote strobes in the bag; Studio Light Room for the creative work on all the stationery; and the world-renowned filmmaker, Pete Santa Maria, got some great footage and will create an amazing story of the wedding (and thanks for the ride to the airport, bro).

Finally, thanks to my partner-in-crime, Lindsey Byrnes, for her incredible work. Truly amazing as always.

I'm seriously in love with this wedding! Every little detail is to die for, from the venue to the bride's GORGEOUS dress and shoes, to the decorations, the silverware and even the Emerica shoes (I interend there over the summer :P)! It's a dream wedding. Congratulations!!!

Hi Wendy!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding in Lake Almanor! The benches are from 'Classic Party Rental' in Sacramento and the girls dresses were the J Crew 'Taryn' dress with a 'Free People' slip under them. A girlfriend of mine that is a designer actually pinned the dresses for us so the slip would be exposed. Hope that helps! (I sent you an email as well so you can contact me with any other questions).
